This class introduces young dancers to movement through a fun combination of ballet, jazz, and games. Focusing on rhythm, musicality, and coordination, it’s a wonderful way to get children moving and building confidence. Designed for 2yrs to Kinder-aged boys and girls.

Our Jazz classes are fun, energetic, and engaging. Each lesson begins with a warm-up including stretching, isolations, and strengthening exercises. Students then travel across the floor to practice turns, kicks, and jumps, before finishing with the learning of a jazz routine.

Our Ballet classes focus on the foundations of classical ballet technique in a more formal learning environment. Students develop discipline, strength, flexibility, rhythm, musicality, and memorisation skills. Ballet is incorporated into our younger classes as it helps improve posture and flexibility, and we highly recommend it for all students as it supports and enhances other dance styles.

Our Hip Hop classes are upbeat, high-energy, and full of fun. Students learn the fundamentals of hip hop movement while developing rhythm, musicality, upper body strength, isolations, stretching, and funky footwork.

Acrobatics for Dancers focuses on building strength and flexibility through acrobatic movements that are incorporated into dance routines. Skills may include aerials, handstands, cartwheels, walkovers, and handsprings. While acrobatics and gymnastics are not dance styles on their own, these skills become dance techniques when performed with rhythm, music, and choreography. Watch out for our Acro Dance at the concert — it’s sure to impress!

Contemporary dance is an expressive style that blends elements of jazz, lyrical, and classical ballet. Dancers focus on connecting the mind and body through fluid, expressive movements.
Pointe classes require a special type of ballet shoe known as pointe shoes, while regular ballet classes are danced in soft flat shoes. Pointe class focuses on dancing on the tips of the toes (en pointe) using shoes with a reinforced toe box to support the dancer’s weight. Students must have an extensive ballet background and successfully pass a pointe assessment with a registered podiatrist to be eligible for this class.
